Compared to a modern DSLR, a $400 used 500c is the camera of unemployed
slackers!  Of course, I would think a long lens would be that of choice for
obsessed stalkers, unless they are quite brave or sneaky.

Humorous part was that it was the property of a penniless, unemployed
ne'er-do-well slacker in a tiny English village who used it to
surreptitiously photograph the object of his obsession. And I suppose
developed the film himself.
