Subject: [Leica] 6 Bit Lens Coding Questions

What do you recommend cleaning the metal with so the paint will adhere?  Has
anyone thought of some sort of etching so the paint will stay on better?

I've come to the same conclusion. Testor's Flat Black applied with a really
pointed brush. Brings back memories of buliding model cars as a kid.

 

Black Sharpies are not a viable way to coded lenses for the Leica M9 sensor.
