[Leica] FS: M8, 50 Hexanon, Rapidwinder, Filters

On offer is my used but not abused Leica M8 with battery, charger, car
adapter, box, cap, and original software. I have a number of common IR cut
filter sizes (39mm, 46mm, 52mm), so if you buy the camera I will throw in a
total of two at no extra charge. The camera is in very good condition and
has never given me any problems, however since the purchase of an M9 a year
ago, I hardly use it and so it must go. I have had a plastic screen
protector on the camera since new. The last picture is file No. 6558, and I
am the original owner. I will include the SD card that is currently in the
camera, although it is a small one by today's standards: 2 GB.

In terms of its external appearance, the finish has one bright mark on the
top plate, which I can only see when the light strikes the camera in the
right way. I have included a picture below showing the top plate at a
?normal? angle and at ?just the right? angle under a strobe to show the
difference.

I currently have a Leica 1.25x magnifier on the eyepiece; I was not
originally going to sell it, but will here for an additional amount to the
purchaser of the camera. To be clear: I will sell the camera without the
magnifier, but not the magnifier without the camera.

Payment: I will accept Paypal, a certified check or a money order. Checks
must clear before shipping. US sale only and I'd prefer to sell to an RFF
member with a decent number of posts. I check my e-mail pretty regularly
and will respond within 8 hours. You can also send e-mail to

a Thumbs-Up. This has been sold, as has the Luigi case. The offer here is
for the camera only.

Also for sale: 50mm Konica M-Hexanon, with UV filter and caps. Lens shows
slight brassing on the knurled focus ring and on the top of the pull-out
hood. Glass looks great, aperture blades clean. Everything works as it
should.

$550 plus shipping and insurance. $500 if purchased with the M8.

(Not pictured): Silver Abrahamson Rapidwinder ? Silver. For M6 and similar
cameras. Great shape. $450 plus shipping and insurance. No ?tulip? on
spindle. Works perfectly. Just about the best accessory ever made for an
M6, in my opinion. My two M6s each have one and this one is, as they say,
surplus to requirements.
