Hi All- The scare was that traffic would be impossible. It was fine. We went
for 2 days of track and field- using the designated buses, and drove our car
for the other days of water polo and weightlifting at outlying venues. i
used a Nikon F and a Nikor 50-300 zoom. There was no ban on long lenses or
camera types/sizes. I have not printed all the negatives-yet. I shot Carl
Lewis coming across the 100 meter finish line from 9 rows up in the
grandstand. If I wasn't so lazy- I'd make some nice prints. I do not recall
that LA spent billions on new facilities- and the Olympics here made money!
The times they are achanging - maybe not for the better. My $0.02. Stasys
