Subject: [Leica] Have camera will travel USA

My wife and I are considering traveling cross country with our dog,
Man Ray. We are pretty much at a loss to decide how best to do this.
The three modes of travel seem to be station wagon/suv + dog friendly
motels, auto + mobile trailer or mobile home. Everything is loaded
with advantages and disadvantages, cost is a main consideration.

I assume other LUGers have struggled with this, can any of you share
your experiences?
