Hi Tina,

You may want to consult a good PC shop because whether it can be done will 
vary according the model of your laptop. This will invalidate the warranty 
on your laptop if surgery like this is performed.

Brian's suggestion of one of those hybrid SSD/HDD to replace your existing 
HDD should be a good solution because you are processing a lot of data. I 
say 'should' because so much is dependent on the precise data access pattern 
when you are running LR. The SSD cache on these hybrid drives are not very 
big.
