Tina,

I had surgical cataracts 2,5 years ago, the best thing I suggest is your 
medical Drs visit, actually surgery works really well but explain him that 
you need better eyes for focusing your camera, 
they place on your eye a small lens, it could be bifocal or single, in our 
case it should be single. My eyes was adjusted to obtain the better possible 
focusing from medium to long distance, in other words, for reading or 
watching my computer I need glasses, between 1.5/2 diopters, but not for 
focusing. I don?t know which is the reason, but I can focus much more better 
my M9 than the M8.
