Once again, Nathan, you give us a real flavour of a place which, from my 
schoolboy history experience, has been a real political football seeing as 
it has been booted about between different rulers and their cultures over 
the centuries.

It will be again, as nothing territorially disputed is ever truly settled.

Is that plaque mean't to be Reagan? If it is, I shudder for Polish 
art........
