Gentlemen & Ladies, about these reviews?
I just look at what their images look like and I figure they either get paid
by LEICA to say the "CORRECT THINGS?" OR? They get a lot of free cameras and
lenses! Do you really look at the CRAP THESE PEOPLE SHOOT???? 99.95% IT'S
PLAIN OUT AND OUT USELESS GARBAGE!

Now before some of you go absolutely crazy with prose in response. Don't you
think a real tester might be someone who has used LEICA's and lenses real
time virtually every day shooting with LEICA'S in hand in almost every
conceivable photo weather and wild fire conditions from birth to death might
be a "TRUE USER UNDER WHATEVER CONDITIONS POSSIBLE?" FOR 50 YEARS?" DAY
AFTER DAY?

Might give an absolutely true assessment than some twit head who twiddles
cameras because he happens to have some kind of connections with buddies at
the LEICA head office! " Or he's kiss - assed with some key people along the
way!

DURING MY WHOLE LIFE IN PHOTOGRAPHY (THAT'S SINCE 27 MAY 1950) RIGHT UP TO
THIS MINUTE SHOOTING REAL ASSIGNMENTS FOR PAYING CLIENTS! I'VE NEVER EVER
BOTHERED READING ALL THIS TECHIE CRAP ESPOSED TO DO NOTHING BUT SUPPOSEDLY
INFLUENCE EQUIPMENT BUYERS! WHY? Look at their images and what they say is
all "BULL-SH--T!

I bought Leica's because' they were the best as my friends enlightened me
and what I discovered as I developed hundreds upon hundreds of rolls of
film. If one is a techie I suppose it's important to read all this stuff??
Me?
It has always come down to the "CONTENT" captured as sharp and properly
exposed as possible is the most important! And the people working the gear!

ok rant off! :-)
cheers,
Dr. ted :-)

Bob,
How many Leica SL do you think they will be renting out compared to
say, a Canon 1DX, or a Nikon D4s, cameras roughly in the same price
range? A ratio of 25:1, or more? These guys will be in a much better
place to take a judgement call about the Nikon or Canon rather than
the Leica. You need to keep in mind as well that he is in the rental
business, and needs to get a return on every bit of equipment he is
invested in, something where I see a conflict of interest with
independent reviews. Keep these sort of known facts in mind when you
read these reviews if you need to benefit from them. It all finally
boils down to how practical you want to be in deploying your money,
which I presume is finite. If it is infinite, then nothing matters!
Cheers
Jayanand
