How much build quality do you need in a digital camera that will be obsolete
in a couple years?  I don't really think any of the digital cameras need to
last 50 years.

I'm not an expert on LCD screens.  I've heard they have a relatively limited
lifetime.  Maybe 10-15 years.  Anybody know if this is true?
