This time you've gone too far! "junior circuit commetted to failure".
That's taking the designated hitter situation over the top! With the
unification of the umpiring corps there's not a lot of difference
except that in the National League you can have a convention on the
pitcher's mound while in the AL you're restricted to three. And, of
course, in the minors the DH is the rule.

But, seriously, I don't remember an nasty comments when the Blue Jays
were in the World Series. The Montreal situation was ugly but that
seems to have been taken care of. My son is seriously delighted to
have baseball return to DC. I'll definitely visit and take MY LEICA
when going to games.

And I'm still grumpy because the idiots at FOX didn't give me a choice
and I was stuck with watching the Red Sox at the Yankees.

I won't even START about "God Bless America" at the 7th inning
stretch. Geesh. A nation of victims. It's 'Take Me Out the Ball Game"
for THIS fan.

Pant pant pant...I'll go cool off now that the rant has had its way....
