Subject: [Leica] Japanese paper reports Canon to take over Leica
From: summarex at hotmail.com (Javier Perez)
Date: Sun Jan 1 10:32:25 2006

*That's illegal and if the German government receives a complaint from a
Canon competitor they would have to stop it even with the new Christian
Democrat government in pwer.

*Also, the story could be half right. They could have been sold, but not to
Canon.

I'm still holding out hope that it's all new year's bullshit.
Javier
