I really hate to say this - but is the new Leica M8 the Panasonic
http://www.dpreview.com/news/0602/06022609panasonicdmcl1.asp an M mount
and a jump in resolution / sensor size? Now that would be an interesting
twist ... It looks like there is space
http://www.dpreview.com/news/0602/panasonic/dmcl1-08.jpg though it does
not have a range finder, but it sure looks like one... And what is that
blanked out section in front of the view finder

Just dreaming ...

Mike

William - No, no, no! No EVF!!! Individual projected frame lines would
sure be nice, though.

I suspect the price is going to keep me away, too, but it's fun to
speculate.

I just went through another cycle of looking at DSLRs and decided to
wait again. My primary shooting these days is with 15 and 28mm lenses
and the options for doing that kind of work with quality DSLRs is quite
expensive. Besides, I really like the small size of the M's.

I have no processing concerns at the moment either though the number of
rolls my guy processes every week is very low.
