Douglas:
Hermes is out of the deal, they sold their shares.

Alastair:
This generation is definitely on auto focus auto everything. a picture is
just that what's on the screen. they even don't know that a picture has to
be focused and exposed correctly.
It's certainly possible certain youngsters will be interested in a Leica M8,
for instance because the other's don't have it. I remember having seen a pic
of Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) using a Digilux-2 (with lens cap on). But
she's the Hermes clientele than the iPod's.

Didier

>This was going to be my comment: "every-kid" has an iPod, so there
>must be plenty of money or borrowings sloshing around
>cheers

>>But the bloke said he wanted quality conscious mums to become Leica
>>users - does this mean that Hermes is still in there somewhere,
>>Leica as a fashion statement again.
>>The iPod Generation has to be pretty flush already - a 4gig model
>>costs, if not an arm and a leg, at least up to your elbows.
>>Douglas
