And his testing, while not really scientific, is consistent in methodology and well thought out. Look, how else but a few "perks" can someone afford a set of 4 new Leica lenses, the total price of which would cost around the same price as a PAIR of cars? As long as he keeps it up, why not use his expertise as one of the ways to evaluate Leica glass... Go Erwin! Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net Erwin's relationship with Leica is well known. Who cares? He is a patient, careful, and decent scholar. And he has to make a living. There is no problem that he receives some perks from Leica.
