Subject: [Leica] Deer and Goose

I witnessed the spectacle of my of my grad school profs beating to death a 
raccoon that got loose in the lab. He gave the animal about six hard blows 
to the head using the handle of some large tin snips as the bludgeon. It 
took about 6 blows on the top f the skull, each of which produced an 
immediate hematoma. It was neither swift nor humane. I was appalled at how 
long the animal was alive and conscious during this. Horrifying, even for a 
24-year-old male.
