Tina I'm holding my breath for you on the extra copies. Since one computer
(presumably with a different Operating System) is recognising the Drobo but
not your Windows 7 machine, maybe it is worthwhile contacting Drobo and see
what they have to say? Of course continuing the extra copy is vital in the
meantime but maybe you won't have to do that format and start again? I would
certainly talk to them before taking any irrevocable action.
Other possibilities, issues with the physical connection between your laptop
and the Drobo and/or, a corrupted driver in your Windows 7 machine? I
remember that you have reported in the past problems with the power
connection (and maybe voltage fluctuation in your area) to your Drobo and
also USB connections on portable drives.
Good luck! Drobo won't be getting my money for a while longer. I must
investigate where the Imagestore project is up to.

Cheers
Geoff
