I recall from my printing seminar with John that he liked to start from 
scratch when reprinting an edition.  Sort of makes sense, since the 
manufacturers are always changing papers etc. on you without notice.  
Inkjet is certainly not immune to that, but oh so much easier to 
recalibrate.  (I keep having these dreams about re-establishing a pro 
darkroom with huge sinks for 20x24 prints, perfect safelights, maybe an 
assistant or two, everything perfectly neat and clean and organized...)
