The Cambo Ultima does make the tilt-shift-stitch process considerably easier
once you've managed to get the gear to the scene.

The size and weight (before tripod) makes it extremely un-portable compared
to Bob's kit.
Plus you'll need a massive tripod and the extremely expensive
sliding-stitching back;
you're not going to walk very far with this stuff on your back
even at sea level - basically into wheeled cases, horses and mules, at this
point.

I've been watching people attempting to solve
these "ultimate achievable digital quality" issues
for over a decade.

It's a very expensive path requiring ever better glass,
and ever more precise hardware to hang the glass and back on.

The Alpa gear is gorgeous and those that can afford it rave about the
precision achieved.
They offer "shift" options; though I've not seen "tilt" available in their
line.
